Presales Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Presales Consultant specializing in Modern Work and Azure solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving presales activities, delivering enablement sessions, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), and supporting channel partners across the Africa region. This role requires mandatory Microsoft certifications, strong technical expertise, and frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with partners/customers to understand business and technical requirements for Azure and Microsoft 365 Platform.

• Responsible for building solution design including technical architecture, operating processes, economics, and benefits for Azure and Microsoft 365.

• Good understanding of Azure Site Recovery, Azure Networking, Azure Lift & Shift, Migration to Office 365, and M365 Security.

• Experience in Database Migration scenarios to Azure SQL/Managed Instance.

• Translate business requirements throughout the architecture procedure and deliver technical solutions in accordance with architecture standards and design specifications across Azure and Modern Work.

• Understanding of Azure Landing Zone and Cloud Adoption Framework.

• Support the sales team in presenting solution design and benefits to partners/customers.

• Review, analyze, and evaluate technology trends and new business model ideas.

Information Classification: Public

• Engage with vendors and attend technical forums to stay updated with latest offerings and solutions.

• Hands-on experience deploying/migrating Azure Solutions (minimum Lift & Shift migrations, understanding of tooling).

• Hands-on experience migrating workloads to Office 365 (minimum Exchange Online migrations from On-premise/G-Suite/other email platforms).

• Ability to perform small-scale deployments/migrations.

• Ability to conduct technical workshops for customers across Azure technologies and M365 solutions.

• Deliver enablement sessions and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) effectively.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of experience in Microsoft Presales roles focused on Modern Work and Azure.

• Mandatory Microsoft certifications in Azure and Modern Work.

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure services.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements across regions.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Africa.

Certification Requirements

• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) – Mandatory.

• Azure Solution Architect (AZ-305) – Added Advantage.

• Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) – Added Advantage.

• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert – Preferred.

• Any other certifications on Azure and Modern Work will be an added benefit.
