Business Development Officer (BDO)
Job Description
Location: Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Compensation: KES 40,000 monthly retainer + uncapped commission (Earn 5% of Gross Profit (GP) for 12 months on every contract closed)
About Arrow Facilities Management: Arrow Facilities Management Ltd provides contractual cleaning and facilities management services for corporate offices, malls, hospitals, and institutions. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a results-driven BDO to secure long-term cleaning contracts and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hunt for long-term cleaning contracts and grow a structured sales pipeline
• Build relationships with facility managers, property developers, and corporate decision-makers
• Attend networking events, expos, and meetings to generate leads
• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the client base
• Respond to tenders, RFQs, and proposal requests
• Collaborate with operations for smooth onboarding and service delivery
• Analyze competitors and strengthen market positioning
• Build partnerships (real estate firms, security companies, corporate offices) for referrals
• Provide weekly sales reports and achieve monthly contract targets
Requirements:
• Proven B2B sales/business development experience (facility management sales is an advantage)
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
• Existing network of corporate clients/facility managers is a plus
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with KPIs
