Job Description
Shadow is building a new way to learn and connect through real-world access - creating curated shadowing experiences with people worth learning from. This Spring, we’re running pilot programs with select colleges and organizations and laying the foundation for what comes next.
We’re looking for a part-time Operations & Program Coordinator to help keep Shadow organized and moving over the next few months.
The Role
This is a flexible, contract role for someone who enjoys execution, follow-through, and effective communication. You’ll act as a quarterback for day-to-day logistics so the founders can stay focused on strategy and partnerships.
What You'll Do
• Coordinate logistics for Shadow pilot programs (students, hosts, schedules)
• Communicate clearly and professionally via email with clients including faculty / administrators, senior-level professionals and executives, etc.
• Track intake forms, documents, and simple internal systems
• Support light admin work (documents, contracts, invoicing support)
• Keep founders organized and informed on what’s moving and what’s next
Who This Is For
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Strong written communicator
• Comfortable reaching out to both students and senior leaders
• Proactive, calm, and not afraid to own tasks
• Interested in early-stage startups, operations, or program coordination
Experience matters less than judgment, organization, and follow-through.
Logistics
• Contract / Part-time
• Timeline: February – April 2026 (approx. 3 months)
• Time: ~5 hours per week or less (very flexible)
• Location: Remote-friendly
• Optional weekly in-person check-in in Chattanooga (The Arena / coworking office)
• Compensation: ~$1,000 per month (based on experience and availability)
