Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Stock / Inventory Control:
• Maintain accurate inventories of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials and equipment.
• Develop, implement and maintain inventory control systems.
• Check stock levels regularly.
• Update stock information on the computer system
• Compile daily reports and address inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain records of dispatches, receipts and disposals.
• Compare items received against the items ordered.
• Follow up the monthly stock take of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
• Logistics:
• Ensure timely dispatch of goods to the customer.
• Ensure that shipping quantity complies with orders and all documentation has been established and shared with the transporters and customers.
• Ensure the appropriate use and security of stock
• Ensure that all the received raw materials & finished products comply to the quality standards.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Supervise the temporary workers in the warehouse.
• Reporting:
• Prepare and share Daily stock levels and stock movement reports the line manager.
• Daily report to the line manager on staff output
