Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Selby Jennings is a leading boutique investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions within the industrial services sector. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, conduct financial analysis, and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities
• Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates. This involves preparing pitch books, financial models, and transaction documents
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
• Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, working closely with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough and efficient reviews
• Maintain and develop client relationships, providing strategic advice and insights throughout the transaction process. Act as a key point of contact for clients
• Perform industry and market research to identify trends, potential targets, and strategic opportunities within the industrial services sector
• Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to ensure seamless execution of transactions and high-quality client service

Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A
• Experience in the industrial services sector is highly desirable
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work long hours and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
