[Remote] Remote Job: AWS Cloud Engineer (Windows Server)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alrek Business Solutions Inc is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS Cloud Platform and Windows Server administration. The role involves a combination of cloud engineering and server administration responsibilities, requiring strong technical skills in full-stack web development and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities
• Must pick up equipment in person
• This is a hybrid role with 80% Cloud Engineering duties and 20% Server Admin responsibilities. Pls make sure you are communicating this to your candidate, so no surprises should they be selected for an interview

Skills
• Intermediate proficiency specifically with the AWS Cloud Platform and familiarity with standard software engineering industry best practices
• Strong experience implementing full-stack web applications leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript on the front-end, and implementing serverless back-end APIs leveraging AWS Lambda and NoSQL databases (eg. AWS DynamoDB)
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js)
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build relationships with stakeholders
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on tech trends
• Windows Server Administration (Server 2019 & Server 2022)
• Experience in on-prem (Windows Server), cloud and hybrid infrastructure, with a focus on delivering scalable, resilient, and secure solutions
• Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer - Associate level)
• Microsoft Server Engineer certifications
