HubSpot CMS Developer Needed: Page Migration + Bug Fixes (Design & Technical Skills Required)
Job Description
We're seeking a skilled HubSpot CMS developer with both design sensibility and strong technical debugging skills for a two-part project:
Part 1: Page Migration & Redesign (30-40% of project)
- Migrate 2 existing pages (Foundation and Careers) to our new site theme
- Adapt content to fit within our established design system and theme guidelines
- Work from stakeholder direction that may be high-level—you'll need to interpret requirements and make sound design decisions
- Deliver pages that are visually cohesive with our new brand direction
Part 2: Bug Fixing & QA Support (60-70% of project)
- Assist our in-house developer with resolving bugs identified during testing
- Focus primarily on frontend/visual issues
- Debug existing code carefully without disrupting functioning features
- All changes require review and approval from our staff developer before implementation
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
- Proven experience with HubSpot CMS, custom modules, and themes
- Strong frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Design eye and ability to create visually appealing layouts
- Systematic debugging approach and attention to detail
- Ability to work from limited specifications and ask clarifying questions
- Experience collaborating closely with other developers
- Clear communication skills for daily progress updates
Working Style
- You'll work in close collaboration with our staff developer
- Regular communication and code reviews are essential
- Methodical, careful approach required—we value quality over speed
- Must be comfortable receiving feedback and iterating
