Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chocolatier located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Chocolatier will be responsible for crafting high-quality chocolates, developing new recipes, and ensuring products meet company standards. Additional tasks include managing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with the team to create unique confectionery delights. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Qualifications
• Strong experience in Confectionery and Bakery techniques
• Proficiency in Baking and Pastry preparation
• Exceptional Culinary Skills
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, Pastry Arts, or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in chocolate-making or a similar role is a plus
