AEO Specialist (Answer Engine Optimization) – Long-Term Freelancer for Agency Client Work

We’re a consultancy/agency working with multiple clients, and we’re looking for a highly skilled AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Specialist to join our extended team.

This is not a one-time project and not an agency engagement. We’re looking for an individual freelancer who wants to work with us long-term across multiple client accounts.

If you deeply understand how search is evolving beyond traditional rankings — toward AI answers, entity-based search, and zero-click results — this role is for you.

🔎 What You’ll Be Working On

Designing and executing AEO strategies for multiple client websites

Optimizing content and site structures for:

Featured snippets

People Also Ask

AI-generated answers (e.g. Google SGE)

Entity-based and semantic search

Identifying question-based and intent-driven opportunities

Structuring content to be easily interpreted by search engines and AI models

Implementing and advising on structured data / schema

Auditing existing content and recommending improvements for answer visibility

Collaborating with our internal team on strategy and execution

Tracking visibility and performance in answer-driven search experiences

🧠 Required Experience & Skills

Strong, hands-on experience with AEO / modern search optimization

Clear understanding of how AI and answer engines surface content

Ability to translate complex search behavior into practical site changes

Experience working on multiple projects or client accounts simultaneously

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Note:

While this role is AEO-focused, prior experience in SEO is important — specifically to ensure you understand on-page optimization, technical site structures, internal linking, and how websites are built and maintained.
