UNEVOC Network Spotlight Issue #7: October 2024 - December 2024 Here is a round-up of the latest engagements in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) undertaken by UNESCO-UNEVOC and UNEVOC Centres from October 2024 to December 2024. BILT Learning Labs are an opportunity for TVET stakeholders to explore specific innovation and learning practices from Africa, Asia and the Pacific and Europe. The MAHE Process workshop was organized from 3 to 5 December 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya, to evaluate the progress and strategize the future of TVET under the MAHE Process. Titled ‘Regional Workshop on MAHE Process to Strengthen TVET in Eastern Africa,’ representatives from 13 countries, including TVET experts, managers and leaders, gathered to identify key challenges and brainstorm action plans for a more effective TVET system. The MAHE Process was launched in 2016 in the Seychelles by UNESCO's Regional Office for Eastern Africa to enhance information exchange and regional cooperation for improving TVET. The event featured innovative practices from the perspectives of both TVET providers and industry.
