UNEVOC Network Spotlight Issue #4: November 2023 - March 2024 Here is a round-up of the latest engagements in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) undertaken by UNESCO-UNEVOC and UNEVOC Centres from November 2023 to March 2024. UNESCO-UNEVOC in Bonn, Germany Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) visits UNESCO-UNEVOC UNESCO-UNEVOC hosted a delegation from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM – UNEVOC Centre in Malaysia) on 14 November 2023. The visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation between UNESCOUNEVOC and UTHM, as well as showcase UTHM’s role as a leading UNEVOC centre within Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Abdul Rasid Abdul Razzaq, Dean, Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education, presented the UTHM’s strategy for academic and research collaboration in TVET. The UNEVOC team presented UNESCO’s Strategy for TVET 2022-2029, recent updates from the UNEVOC Network Secretariat, the Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) project and the Technical Cooperation Unit. UNEVOC welcomes TVET officials from Kenya On 6 November 2023, UNESCO-UNEVOC welcomed experts from several Kenyan TVET organizations.
