Currently, there are 3 colleges offering Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, with a capacity to admit 2,735 students while the remaining 33 are offering Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, with 11,088 vacancies up for grabs. The vacancies are available in the following institutions. Lugari TTC Primary Teacher Training Colleges 1. Ugenya TTC Applicants seeking a chance in the primary TTCs must have at least a mean grade of C (plain) in KCSE or equivalent, while those seeking enrolment into Diploma in Secondary Education are required to have a minimum of C+ in KCSE or equivalent. Those with other qualifications different from KCSE should seek equation from Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) to enable them to apply. KUCCPS is encouraging interested and qualified Form Four leavers from the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) cohort and those the from previous years to apply for the slots.
