BACKGROUND Daystar Publications was founded in 1964 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, by S. E Motsoko-Pheko, a political refugee from South Africa and Dr. Faye Smith, an American missionary couple. In 1969, Daystar Publications became Daystar Communications; shifting concentration from publishing to research and training. Daystar Communications relocated to Nairobi Kenya in 1974 and was granted a charter as an accredited University in 1994.
