Malpractice Policy Introduction This Policy is aimed at our customers, including centres, who are delivering ABE approved qualifications and all learners registered on ABE programmes both within or outside the UK and who are involved in suspected or actual malpractice. The Policy also applies to ABE staff who are suspected of being involved in such cases. It is for use by our staff to ensure they deal with all malpractice investigations consistently and according to procedures laid down by ABE. For clarity, maladministration will be viewed as a form of malpractice under this Policy. Please also refer to the ABE Centre Code of Conduct, updated in May 2025. The Policy sets out the steps your centre, and learners or other personnel, must follow when reporting suspected or actual cases of malpractice and our responsibilities in dealing with such cases. It also sets out the procedural steps we will follow when reviewing each case.
