Role Description

GORILLA VENTURES LIMITED is seeking a full-time Writer to join their team in Nairobi County, Kenya. This is an on-site role where the ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling content for diverse communication needs, including marketing copy, product descriptions, promotional materials, and internal documentation. Daily tasks include research, writing, editing, proofreading, and collaborating with team members to generate clear and engaging text that aligns with the company's brand voice and messaging strategy. The Writer will also contribute to content ideation and participate in brainstorming creative campaigns.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Content Writing, Creative Writing, and Copywriting
• Strong skills in Research, Content Strategy, and Idea Development
• Attention to detail for Editing and Proofreading
• Familiarity with Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Content Marketing practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in using content writing and editing tools
• Relevant experience in the retail or related industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
