SAP BRIM – SOM / CI Functional Lead(Remote – U.S.)OverviewWe are seeking a senior SAP BRIM Functional Lead with deep expertise in Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Convergent Invoicing (CI) to support and enhance an active BRIM landscape. This role will partner closely with product owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, standard-driven SAP solutions for subscription and usage-based revenue models. This is a functional architecture and delivery role, ideal for someone with hands-on BRIM implementation experience who can translate business needs into clean system design and configuration. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Lead-to-Cash functional workstream within SAP BRIMOwn functional solution design across SOM, Convergent Charging, and Convergent InvoicingPartner with product owners and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsDetermine fit to standard SAP BRIM functionality vs. custom solutionsProduce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) as neededPerform hands-on configuration within BRIM modulesGuide upstream design decisions to ensure accurate downstream billing and invoicingSupport stabilization efforts and ongoing enhancements in a live BRIM environmentParticipate in functional workshops and release planning cycles Required Experience & Skills5+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM experienceStrong implementation experience with Subscription Order Management (SOM)Deep understanding of: Quote-to-cash processes in subscription/XaaS modelsConvergent Charging (usage, overages, pricing logic)Convergent Invoicing dependenciesProven ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutionsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex functional concepts clearlyComfortable working in a remote, cross-functional delivery modelPrior experience leading functional workstreamsExperience supporting post-go-live stabilization and incremental releases Nice to HaveSAP BRIM / CI certifications Additional DetailsLocation: Remote (U.S.-based)EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
